FB Did NOT Remove Humorous Video!
Facebook responds: We did NOT remove the video!
It APPEARED that Facebook had removed a cute video that I posted ... showing (jokingly) 'how to have sex on a plane, and get away with it'.
IT WAS BY FAR THE MOST POPULAR VIDEO I'VE POSTED ON MY FACEBOOK FAN PAGE:
- more than 1200 views by Followers in under 24 hours
- more than 30 Likes
- the video has had more than 19 million views (as of 6/23/15)
However, it did receive two negative comments:
- "Garbage!"
- "Why do we have to see this? It's not something children should see."
I responded to the second comment:
"You don't have to see it - don't visit my page! I write erotic romance, and all of my Followers are adults. ALSO, what part should children not see - the arguing or the simulated 'sex'? The problem with today's society is that we have no problem with showing arguing and violence, but shun showing sex, which is a natural body function."
Here is FACEBOOK's official policy:
"“Restrictions on the display of … sexual activity … apply, unless the content is posted for educational, humorous, or satirical purposes. Explicit images of sexual intercourse are prohibited.” I think we would all agree that the content was posted for a HUMOROUS purpose (that's certainly why I posted it). And, there is nothing 'explicit' - no nudity, nothing actually shown (in fact, no actual sex, as the actors were just shaking each other, as they humorously portrayed attempting to have sex in a tiny plane lav).
I DO NOT KNOW 'HOW' THE VIDEO WAS REMOVED FROM MY FACEBOOK TIMELINE, BUT EVIDENTLY IT WAS NOT DUE TO FACEBOOK. YEAH!!! I HAVE NOW RE-POSTED IT THERE, AND VIA THE FOLLOWING LINK:
